Product Care & Appearance

Our Leather

There is no other material that compares to leather. It is supple, rich, durable, resilient, and manages to take on a character of its own, when cared for. There are many types of leather and we have carefully handpicked specific variations to create the finest bands.

Your leather band will develop a complimentary patina when worn over time, of which you'll will enjoy as it tells a unique story of your adventures and there will be no two alike. Embracing the character of natural materials is Luxeora Life.

Luxeora product images on this site should be used as a good guide to what the product will resemble and is a close representation of what your handcrafted product will look like. Luxeora's individualized product construction guarantees individual attention to detail and quality assurance in every product.

Leather Band Care

Like all leather objects (shoes, gloves, etc) a leather strap needs to be carefully cared for in order to maintain its beauty in the long term. Protect leather straps from water, perspiration, damp, grease, perfume, cosmetics or chemicals, and avoid excessive exposure to the sun.

Tip 1: If your band gets too wet throughout, dry it slowly. If you dry your band with heat or too quickly it will stiffen and potentially crack your band. You can dry your band with gentle air at room temperature. The shape that it drys in will be the shape that it takes on.

Tip 2: If your band gets dirty, you can use a damp cloth to gently wipe away the dirt and smudges. Soaps and chemicals are not recommended as it will damage your leather band.

Tip 3: Let your leather band breathe. Do not store your band in an air tight environment such as plastic. It will retain moisture and cause mildew.

Nylon/Leather Band Care

Our Nylon/Leather bands are a combination of two materials. For the leather element we would like to refer you to the Leather Band Care section. As for the Nylon element, you can care for it in a similar manner to leather. Your strap needs to be carefully cared for in order to maintain its beauty in the long term. Protect straps from water, perspiration, damp, grease, perfume, cosmetics or chemicals, and avoid excessive exposure to the sun.
